What are your Hopes for Prince's Future?

not just musically, but for his well-being as well, and anything else you'd like to say, keeping in mind how much he's done so far..

i hope he makes the music he really enjoys, stays healthy, and continues to learn whatever, whenever.

you?

this too shall pass

Outside of music? I don't know him...so none. shrug

We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

Before he gets to old and starts slipping musically.. I hope he does a World Tour! He should have done this in 2004. He could have made 3 times the money. But I think for the fans, one last time - do a huge arena tour all around the world!

Start in Europe, play America last!

cool

I'd like him to get with all his musical contemporaries, make and album and tour it with them. & considering that I involve myself with his music in my daily rituals I pray for his happiness and health.

Peace ... & Stay Funky ...

Prince is NOT a geriatric yet.

He is only 52 years old.

sure, guess i just wondered, after 30 years of tours, and how tiring they can be, for any artist, at any age, that maybe at 52 it's not as appealing for him as it may been in the past. although i'm sure he could handle it.

Exactly. Prince is still very young compared to others. look at James Brown he was dancing his little socks off into his 70s and look at Little Richard and Chuck Berry they must be in there 80s now and there still performing.

FUNKNROLL! dancing jig "February 2014, wow". 'dre. nod

I don't have hopes for Prince's future. Prince will do what he wants, as anyone in the world does what they want. I can hope for the sky to be purple on June 7 every year, but that probably won't happen. I'll just keep checking out the music, side-stepping those pesky business ventures of his, and what not.

I mean, to hope he stays healthy and learns stuff - that's kind of everyone, isn't it? We're all in life to learn lessons, grow as people, gain knowledge, forge friendships, fight for what we believe is right, and try not to drag anyone down in the process. We'll slip and fall at that sometimes, as will Prince, and Bob in Florida, or Jane in Seattle.

I have no higher hopes for Prince than I have for myself or anyone else. Prince doesn't deserve higher hopes from me than I have for myself. I'm #1 in my book. We all should be, right? The #1 guy in Prince's book is Prince. The #1 person in your life is you. Ultimately we all have to take care of ourselves before we're any good to worry about someone else.

Perhaps if we spent less time worry about others and what they do or say, and focus on the man in the mirror, this world would be kick ass. Of course I wish Prince, and you, and myself, and anyone else here the best in life.

my hopes for prince's future is to just to do what ever makes him happy biggrin

like his song says "i wish you heaven " i wish him heaven angel

but my selfish hopes for prince are lol :

i wish he would make a official website dedicated to his music throughout the years and keep fans updated with news , and maybe have monthly chat sessions with fans

i wish he would release some more music biggrin

i dont want him to release songs from the vault in his lifetime , wait until he goes to heaven and then release the vault

i REALLY REALLY wish prince would write an autobiography biggrin biggrin
This would make pickles very happy ( not sure if this is ever gonna happen though lol )

That really would be nice. Maybe even tell his side on what was going on in his life when he wrote some of the key songs as well as some of his woes with the music industry and family members. I would also love 2 know how he "splurged" when he got his first "big" check. How did he handle the new-found "family" members? I don't think some of these have ever been addressed.

My hope is to see and hear a killer album - maybe not a SOTT part II - but then maybe a Gold Experience part II. In other words I hope Prince's future will have a happy ending. The next 12 years - or so - should be bright, including a few more album masterpieces.

:I'm dreaming now: wink

Time 2 go acoustic 4 a while... tour the world with a stripped back acoustic band and then a year later hit us with a full on rock album. This watered down pop isnt workin.

Like most people on this site, I don't know Prince personally. His music, however, has enriched my life so much that I consider Prince a friend. Like any friend, I just want him to be happy. I'm sure being a rock god has many perks, but it also seems like it could be a lonely life too. During Emancipation, he really seemed to be in love with Mayte and impending fatherhood. Those songs were so full of love and wisdom. It always seemed kinda sad how it ended. He seemed to be in a great place then. I'd like to see him in that place again.

That He lives a long and happy life and that I get the chance to go to one of his concerts and meet him face-to-face.
