2 Questions About Rave (1988 Version)

Of the tracks prepared for the 1988 versions of the Rave album:

Rave Unto The Joy Fantastic 1
The Voice Inside
Melody Cool
Rave Un2 The joy Fantastic 2
God Is Alive
If I Had A Harem
Stimulation
Still Would Stand Alll Time
Elephants & Flowers
Big House
We Got The Power
Good Judy Girlfriend
Pink Cahsmere
Electric Chair
Am I Without U?
Moonbeam Levels

are the GB tracks the ones that have been on the bootleg circuit since the early '90s? Also has anyone heard this version of Moonbeam Levels? I know it's not the 1982 version so I'm wondering how it differs it from the original.

It stands to reason that since Graffiti Bridge and Rave Unto(original title spelling) The Joy Fantastic were either side-by-side or evolutionary projects, the tracks that were compiled for both albums were probably exactly the same. I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm off base.

These projects were shelved when work when Batman Soundtrack was offered.
Prince also took on another Madhouse project, and work with Cat / Margie Cox with Dr. Mambo's Combo to make the "MC FLASH" album.

From the Vault:

Re: Moonbeam Levels - The track was later revamped for inclusion on the 1988 Rave Unto The Joy Fantastic album project. A segment of “3 Chains O’ Gold” on prince shows a passing similarity to the melody of the verses of “Moonbeam Levels.”

If prince.org were to be made idiot proof, someone would just invent a better idiot.
