from the "hot summer" thread u would think the world is ending. I don't think the song is all that great personally but I don't take it as a chance to bemoan Prince's very existence. If he's not doing it for you anymore find something that is. Just stop all the woo is me prince isn't who he used to be.

Word to the unwise none of us is who we use to be. And Prince cannot fufill your musical fantasies endlessly. Some of u seem to take it as a personal affront that u don't like his music anymore. like he delibrately set out to make "bad" music to hurt you.

Like "turn me loose" these latest free (hang on that word) songs are basically b-songs prince is sharing with us. If he expected to make money with them they would be on a CD.

I won't start to worry until every song on a cd only rises to the level of "hot summer" creatively. Lotusflower was just last year yet folks are acting like these last free songs are the first peep we have heard from him in decades.

And lastly if I ever feel that prince has really "lost it". I sure won't show up here to belittle him and claim that he has some how shamed me. U folks are some of the most negative, ungrateful, "sky is falling" folks in existence gee. Now get back to your pity party.

Couldn't you have posted this in the Hot Summer sticky? Or did you just want to moan about the moaners without your incredible insight getting lost in the shuffle?

Well seeing as there is a June release rumor floating around, and here we have this new track in JUNE...I think people have the right to worry. Hopefully if it is on the album..it will be one of the weakest tracks. Cause if its one of the strongest, we're about to waste $12-$15.
