Exhile on Mainstreet, Anybody Jealous? Man just watching the clips, the interviews, downloading the classic tracks and new ones for the Stones in Exhile project i have to say as a prince fan i am jealous. The way this project was put together, the thoughtful remastering, the way the documentary was produced and how the new tracks mesh with the original work is astounding. When you consider how some of prince's best work was actually configured differently a similair effort would be a masterpiece. He can still breath new life into whatever he chooses to touch live and it would be a graceful way to work with Wendy, Lisa and sheila again. Damn it would be nice to see a blown out 1999 with B-sides, unreleased remasterd tracks, and a handful of new songs.Just wondering how many look at this project and think Damnit!! lol

I'm with you, DS32!
With Prince's back catalogue, this kind of care can and should be taken.

I just believe its time he sat down with WB, amazing document filmakers, engineers and a great team and get this done. He is no more of a forward thinking tommorow person than Mick, yet Mick is an astute businessman who understood the relevance of the work. The new tracks were done with such reverance that without crediting you couldnt tell when they were recorded. Prince can top this, because a lot of his legendary work actually contained tracks that were cut, and he can do newer music in the same tone.
