Spelling inconsistencies - and the fact Prince has never been the kind to engage in a social networking site like Twitter in a direct, personal way - aside.... (although those are compelling factors in themselves)

Take CONTENT into consideration, people! Sheesh. This is the same Twitter account where, a few months ago, the faker was writing stuff like "Hey, guys, love ya!" and "Hey, guys, I'm bored, tell me what cities I should do my next concert in" and "I'll say hi to the first 3 people who respond to this tweet!" and shit like that. How can anyone think or argue that Prince would say/type that kind of stuff?????

It's the same sort of non-sensical situation as a 'Paris Hilton' Twitter full of intellectual tweets discussing nuclear physics or a 'Stephen Hawking' Twitter going on and on about the outfit Mylie Cyrus wore in her latest video. Maybe Prince is 'more human' than his carefully cultivated public persona leads us to believe, but he's not going to go on Twitter and post the kind of things this Twitter account has before, or is doing now, sorry.

I went back and checked - that last fake Twitter was "PRINCE_OFFICIAL". This current one is "prince_live". Pretty close usernames. My money is on it being the same person behind both Twitters, but that's just my thoughts...

It's still hilarious to me that the first few tweets on this current Twitter weren't consistent in "U" "R" "2" etc usage, and then when the inconsistency was pointed out, suddenly "Prince" is more on the ball about using them. Hilarious! This impersonator needs to go back to Impersonator School..they aren't ready yet to get on stage.

Ok So I didn't read thru this whole thread so sorry if a repeat ... but, that Prince_live twitter doesn't have an "account verified" on the profile like some other real accounts have (an example would be Conan O'Brien)...

so not sure really how much I believe.. but I can sure hope.

What's pathetic about this is that the person running that fake ass Twitter page is probably some dumb skull on prince.org, and is eating up the blind folks that eat it up as the truth.

Why anyone poses as a celebrity online is just beyond me. I mean, I use my cat's name on a Facebook page, but that's in good fun. I've used it once or twice, but with her full permission.

Whoopi Goldberg announced on The View the other day that someone was impersonating her on Twitter, and she said she's never had an interest in Twitter, and doesn't plan on having one, and that the person is NOT her, or is associated with her in any respect. Someone was doing the same about Rosie O'Donnell. I mean.....what's the point? Whoever is running that Twitter page has ZERO life and friends, I would imagine. I bet my money would double if I bet on it.

Now I am waiting on the fake CD to go with the fake Twitter, and a fake web site, and it will still be better than Lotus.

The previous fake Twitter was up longer than this before it got suspended, and many other KNOWN fake Twitters claiming to be this or that celebrity stay up, even after the celebrity it is impersonating speaks out and tells everyone it isn't legitimate. I don't know how Twitter works, but I don't think they do much to shut down fakers until enough ruckus is raised about a particular account.
