Is Paisley Radio coming back LIVE on May 23? My friend Matt Stensland-Bos is supposed to stop by my apartment tomorrow afternoon to prerecord an episode on Prince's 1996 acoustic album, "The Truth." However, Matt is currently struggling with headaches, fatigue, and insomnia. In the event he can't do the show, do you guys think I should throw together an impromptu live broadcast for Sunday night?
I graduate college on Saturday, and will most likely prerecord a show with my sister and my cousin on Saturday night, which I will upload to the show page later in the week. I'm hoping that'll be enough to tide people over until I return LIVE on June 7. It will be a busy next few days for me, but I've spoken to Nicky Tuzio and Ernest Sewell, IV about joining me Sunday for a 2-hour discussion of 3 of Prince's best live shows--Syracuse '85, Dortmund '88, and Tokyo '90. The Purple Rain Concert in Syracuse still gives me chills, and the encore performance that night had the Guitar Gods smiling.  If left up to me, you guys could've kept it going for another two hours, but that's a woman's opinion. Thank you Chris, Ernest, Nick, and Steve...job well done. [Edited 5/23/10 19:40pm] | |
