That is certainly a beautiful cover. This could wind up being a favorite. I just now noticed the little hand with the pen on the left.. cute.

Now that I can see a HQ version of that cartoon, I like that his hair is highlighted purple, but I don't like that his eyes are not brown. His eyes should have been colored light brown. Still an awesome drawing though, and it captures him almost perfectly. It's the most eye-catching album cover he's had in a long time, in my opinion. I think it will garner a lot of attention in stores, even if the music is not popular.

Yeah both artists are a bit unsophisticated. The artist for the Prince cover looks to be pretty young and seems to put a lot of effort into his work so I'm sure his artwork will be a lot stronger in the year to come. The one above just screams armature schtick. Was it by Bowie himself? | |
