I have two copies of it. Bought one when it came out for full price, then got another at the bookstore I used to work at because it was only about $10.
I like it. It's not particularly inspiring "reading," the the CD is pretty nice and the book has some great photos. It would have been better to have more live performance photos/more candid style shots but we all know P ain't signing up for that. It's a good buy at the low prices it's at now, as long as it still has the CD.

Terrible photos, awful poetry, and a CD that manages to completely miss all of the energy of the O2 shows. A hat trick of ineptitude. Keep it if you're a completist.

$7.98 @ Half Price Books. The CD is worth 5 bucks I guess, I think I listened to it twice. The book is a waste of paper. I think I counted about 20 pictures of Prince in the whole thing. If you paid retail I'd suggest you return it and find one at a discount seller.

ernestsewell said: You people keep saying the book was "disappointing". What the hell did you think it was going to be? A sequel to War & Peace? Some lost dead sea scrolls? The Ten Commandments written by the hand of God? Of course it's a big picture book. It's a coffee table book, and those type of books are always for reading on a rainy day.
I had low expectations for it, being a Prince vanity project and it even failed to meet those So what are u going 2 do? R u just gonna sit there and watch? I'm not gonna stop until the war is over. Its gonna take a long time

I'm not sure why my opinion is any more biased than anyone else's, but whatever. I liked the O2 shows and aftershows very much. The CD inside 21 Nights didn't do a good job of capturing how good they were.

On the last thread about this (which had $4.99 in the title) one of the posters said they got it at Borders for that price. I called Joshua/Jason in Shrewsbury, Ma said "we don't have it". So I called Minneapolis and they said, we don't transfer. So called stupid J back, he then and only then looked it up and said, I yeah we have it coming in in a couple of weeks. It was there in ten days and I picked up 3.
My point is ask them to check if they are expecting any in, I have a feeling that due to the weight they are sending them out in small bunches. Shrewsbury only got six that time. There came a time when the risk of remaining tight in the bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom. Anais Nin.
