Hi y'all,

Ok, there r tons of live concerts to get online but i just can't stand audience recordings anymore and i don't want to download tons of stuff just to erase most of it.

I'm sure i fell down on a list of soundboard recordings once (either here or somewhere else on the internet) but i can't remember where. Can somebody help me to find it?

Soundboard recording does not necessarily mean good audio quality. I have soundboard recordings that are fantastic, and others which are quite simply terrible. But i guess you know that already, at least you dont have to put up with people shouting conversations to each other and really loud handclapping with soundboards. I have some Japanese soundboards from the 'Lovesexy' Tour, and although they sound great musically, the overall listening experience suffers from a sterile lack of atmosphere. There is something to be said for a little audience response.

I prefer pristine sounding soundboards, but i do admit that some actual performance recordings do suffer a little from lack of audience noise, making some of them sound a bit like soundchecks. I dont collect audio only concerts,i dont like not seeing whats actually going on. I just collect dvds,especially TV Appearances and Pro-Filmed recordings.

I suggest downloading a copy of the old Databank website here (reply #61). You can avoid poor quality boots, and save time and bandwidth by reading the reviews before you download a particular boot. Listings for the latest boots can be found on The Digital Garden link that was already posted.
