The Staples Center 2004 broadcast is probably the most recent full concert from soundboard that wasn't commercially released. Or did I miss something? Purple Fact #542: Prince can make a Weeble™ fall down.

I would say so too... Btw, does a complete list of only soundboard bootleg recordings exist? She gave her angels...

They're good for nothing but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down the stairs.

Found it, I don't know if this list is 100% correct, I think it contains some partial shows and there's definitely a few radio performances on the list but here you go for anyone who's interested.

[Sweet List Was Here] You absolutely rock. I've been wanting a list of soundboards for years. Thank you. Now I have some *ahem* research to do. Purple Fact #542: Prince can make a Weeble™ fall down.

Check out the boot Continental Divide to cross some of those off your list. I haven't found it in lossless yet, but the mp3s are higher bitrate. Great boot. Thanks for the list Xenon. But excuse my ignorance. What do you mean by "soundboard?" "You're just another part of me" MJ

A recording from the mixing desk at the concert. Quality is often massively superior to a recording made by a member of the audience

To expand on this... all of the stage audio is fed to the soundboard by cables, thus making the recording a direct link to the live sound - the best possible method. There is not the unwanted ambient sound that an audience recording would pick up, such as venue echo, excessive clapping, fucking tambourines, screaming fans and the guy next to the taper singing off-key to every song in the set. Thanks for the expansion. All pretty technical. I can barely plug my tv into the socket, that's how technical I am. "You're just another part of me" MJ

Don't you mean tamboraccas? I remember years ago going to record conventions, listening to the boot CDs before buying and hearing some crazy person right next to the taper shaking the living shit out of their tambourine/tamboracca. Ruined many a good bootleg for me. Purple Fact #542: Prince can make a Weeble™ fall down.
