The Camille-style Singalong Found myself howling along to Feel U Up on my way to work this morning in the car...
Do you find yourself trying to replicate the voice too, is it possible to sing those tracks without?  | |

haha, u guys crack me up.. I wind up belting his songs in the car and NEVER even thought about what i do while accompaning old Princey or Camille..LOL.
But I've always challanged myself of singing my own style and never trying to sound like the original artist.. I've seen too many people go to karaoke.. sing REALLY well and THEN do an Elvis song and Eveyone when singing him, tries to immitate his voice.. ekk! I've tried Kiss a few times and IF you can't falsetto, u dont do it.. LOL.. so I found it interesting to try to sing it ala Tom Jones-style over the "Revolution" backing music.. or should I say Mazarati | |

Little slightly off subject side note.
I remember when i first moved to georgia i was in the 6th grade. we had a school dance. apparently they were hard up for music so they had a tape with about 4 or 5 songs on it that they kept rewinding during the 2/3 hour dance. one of the songs on it was THE GREATEST ROMANCE EVER SOLD....was kinda funny looking back on it. i thought it was the worst school dance ever  | |

I do try to do the Camille voice in "If I was your girlfriend" when he pleads "please." Sometime I come close. I think the Camille voice adds to the passion and pain of that part. | |
