Wall of Berlin on Lotus is funky i luv the opening of the song..the major chords emanating from the guitar (that lickle melody there)
but then it gets rude...Jimi Hendrix (erupts the question mark) takes a stand (aside, any one know if this is Prince or some1 else playing drums?) then we come to the solos at the end of the jam that make u feel as if shonuff U at a live Prince show this version on Lotus proves that Prince is one of the best modern day guitarists | |

Amazing drum rhythm (don't think that's Prince....its sounds like Cora) which is kinda off kilter and at first doesn't sound like its 4/4, but it is! Wonderful. Loving the lyrics too - Prince at his whimsical and cryptic best. And the way it busts in to a pacy, almost progressive/rockabilliy hybrid workout every now and again is just lush. I wish the freakout coda was a bit longer and he just let Cora really run with it (it sounds like there's a few minutes more of jamming there that was recorded), but I still love it. One of the standout tracks in the set for me. ...we have only scratched the surface of what the mind can do...
