O.B.L.G.R.T.B./2001 Also sprak Zarathustra

An-improved-sound-quality-device-came-to-me with the 1998 Utrecht (Holland) aftershow titled 'R U Gonna Go My Way'. Wonderful kick ass show, I still wish I was there.... Nevermind.

Everytime I hear the ending unofficial track (start the Go Go), and Prince starts rapping Osama Bin Laden Get Ready To Bomb, it gives me goose bumps. There's been a lot to do about it ever since, especially shortly after the horrible terrorism act of 9-11. May all rest in peace. I remember various discussions in the past on Housequake grounds.

I always thought: Prince is a visionair - otherwise you don't come up only once with such a line.

What is your opinion about it?
What do you mean it's not in the computer?

This concert happened shortly after the 1998 bombings of US embassies in Tanzania and Kenya. The bombings resulted in Osama bin Laden being put on the FBI's Ten Most Wanted list.

So Prince ain't such a "visionair" as you think.
We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

Also Sprak Zarathustra is the theme to the movie 2001 so that combined with what Genesia said is how it all came about.

Although it's still spooky to hear and at least means he's plugged into the wider world, Far less of an isolated existence than some people make out that's for sure

By all accounts, Prince is a news junkie. So I'm not surprised.

When Prince played Boston in the Fall of 2000, I remember him uttering those same words at one point during the show (Osama Bin Laden getting ready to bomb)

That's because the USS Cole bombing happened in October of 2000.
