It's great. Probably my favorite concert certainly on a par with The Avenue August 1983 show.
The Purple Rush release of this was an upgrade and this is an even better sounding version. This an essential release. It just makes me wish he had followed up Purple Rain with a more Minneapolis sounding album. I really do love Around The World In a day but Imagine this album Prince And The Revolution The Dance Electric Our Destiny Roadhouse Garden All Day All Night Traffic Jam Wonderful Ass Possessed The Dance Electric. (Full 11 minute version) He could have released that early 1985 and then followed it up with ATWIAD later in 1985. Something BIG Is Coming. |
