To me all Prince versions are the best because he is the original creator so his vision is purer - I wouldn't replace Patti's vox on Yo Mister though, or Mavis' on Time Waits For No One (but he did produce them and does BVs).
I think a Compilation of all Prince's original versions of songs he gave away would be excellent. Only Prince can make it so... | |
