Told NOBODY wants to hear "I Could Never Take the Place of Your Man?!"

So today I'm driving home from work have the windows open and the roof open blasting "I Could Never Take the Place of Your Man." Beautiful dav.

This obviously disturbed woman pulls alongside side me and asks me to listen to hear. "Turn that down. NOBODY wants to hear that!" she yells.

Of course I turned it up.

Take about bitter people with no taste!

I would have turned it off and replaced it with one of Prince's more dirty songs and THEN turned the volume up.

She would have said the same thing no matter what song you were playing by any artist.

Exactly! It sounds like her problem wasn't with the song, it was with the volume of it.
I knew from the start that I loved you with all my heart.

No offense, but I would have said something to you regardless of what song it was, if the volume was too high.

You do that?

Never in my life have I told anyone in a car in the middle of the day to turn the volume down. Or in the night for that matter.

I hate it when people have their windows open and play their music loud in their car. Does everybody needs to enjoy your music? Never understood why people do that.

yeahthat There is a noise ordinance that allows police officers to pull you over if your stereo is disturbing the peace. Perhaps a simple solution would be to roll your windows up.

When driving, people should adopt the "good neighbor" policy.
Intelligent people talk about ideas. -->Average people talk about things. --> Small people talk about other people.

I think i loud music sounds better with the windows down. I think some of the sound bounces off the glass making it more distorted. But I have to put the windows down and volume up on some songs.

But it is for me not for anyone else. When I have seen cars with their sound up high and windows down I could hardly tell what it was anyway and it was never much of a bother.

BINGO.

Besides if I heard some supercool GOOD music banging from a car next to me I think cool. If it's something I can't stand I roll MY windows up. Let people enjoy life.

Well not whatever... you know cops on over passes can see if you have no pants on.... and that is apparently a violation in Oklahoma.

There was some story on CNN a little while back about a young black kid who got fined for playing rap music too loud in his car. He actually went to court and the judge gave him an option of paying a fine or being forced to listen to classical music for a period of 72 hours, or something like that. The kid chose to listen to classical music.

The judge's rationale was that people on the street don't want to be forced to listen to rap music, so you will be punished by listening to classical.

Sure, I get his point, but isn't that a bit musicist (if not racist)? Suppose the kid was blasting classical music through a suped-up car system? You know... blasting some Gustav Mahler #3 or some shit. I'd bet you $1,000 that the judge wouldn't then force that kid to listen to rap for 72 hours.
