I will throw my ticket in the hat that he return back where it started in the SF Bay Area when he recorded his first album. For sure he has quite a few friends that have there roots there and might be a good creative outlet for him. Not to mention a vibrant music scene and diverse cultures. Cast your vote and tell me why. Pick any city in the world. Achtung Baby!!!
Well the weather is nice in SF, and the people are cool. But i have always thought it would be cool to have a live recording in a nice little intimate out of the way place like New York's Carnegie Hall Throw in a little 40 person gospel choir, maybe string orchestra, all while wailing an electric guitar one second, a nice quiet acoustic guitar or piano section and we have lift off. A well produced show like that would be a super hot ticket i think. Tourist and locals alike would eat it up. It would certainly not go unnoticed in a city like the Big Apple Nice!

Electric LadyLand Studions in New York City. The purple maestro deserves to be in that place. When it was being built, Jimi said only this in terms of how he wanted it to look. Somthing along the lines of "Soft curves, like a woman's body. No jarring or sharp corners". I think Prince would love it there.
ORRRRR... Armoury Studios in Vancouver, B.C Canada!!!!! "Located near English Bay & Granville Island, countless restaurants, most major hotels, Kitsilano Beach, night clubs and diverse shopping districts are within walking distance, or a short drive. Vancouver International Airport is approx. 20 minutes drive from the facility." I'll personally....give him a tour of the city myself if he came here. *sigh* I can dream....

I think it would be cool if Prince came up with a bunch of songs and let the band rehearse the hell of them, take them for a spin at various small club shows to get tweaked by audience reaction, culminating in a live show intended as the basis of the new album. New music recorded live in front of a lucky live audience at Carnegie Hall. If the album is a success he could do run there.

Two shouts for Glasgow so far, here comes the third.
Glasgow For those that know Glasgow incidentally, please stay safe tonight. The thermostat is up over 20 degrees and this means the entire population will be Kung Fu fighting “If I can shoot rabbits/then I can shoot fascists”

Chicago - to effectively record songs with social commentary. Vienna - for artistic inspiration and to develop new yet classical sounds to add to his already impressive style. Monaco - they've got the Prince's palace so he should feel right at home. Bangin' night life too. I doubt he'll come back to the bay to live....it's too familiar here.

How about in Paris? I'd love another album that sounded anything like Parade but alas for that you also need the revolution. "Why'd I waste my kisses on you baby?" R.I.P. Prince You've finally found your way back home. Well Done.

I,m feelin the New Orleans vibe also. They've been hit so hard with the katrina and now the gulf oil spill it might inspire his spirit to draw from the peeps and surroundings and also the talent of so many musicians there to create and jam with.

I'm under the impression Lenny has a beaut of a house right off the lake. He could hang out with him or I'm sure he could rent one of his own and take residency for a year. We got nuthin but beautiful people here. He'd have a blast.
