Has Soul Psychodelicide ever had an official release?

Sorry if this is a stupid question. But this is one of my fav Prince songs & I am not aware of any album release of this song even though I have like 8 diff versions of it.

I have a version of this song....it starts off with Kim Basinger(?) moaning, and she even tries to sing...mumbling some silly lines....

the [magic?) pump of sheer delight

Thanks! Is there any story behind the song as farbas y it wasn`t released. there`s so many versions of it so it seems he definitley had a lot of interest in the song @ one point. guess he just moved on... sadly. I`m glad I @least have it though. Really cool track imo

Same story as We Can Funk I guess. He recorded it in the mid 80's, and kept coming back to it through the years, then almost released in with Grafitti Bridge. We can Funk finally got a release, Soul Psychodelicide remained shelved.

To me,it sounds more like a jam session than a complete, finished song.

The version I have starts off with the Kim Basinger moaning, then it becomes a repetitive, lengthy jam.Is there a version that is more complete....with verses and other lyrics?
