Ebay prices 4 Prince.

omg A sealed copy of Rave In2 The Joy Fantastic (the remix version) cd just sold on Ebay.co.uk 4 a very impressive £102. Sealed copies of One Nite Alone (piano) regularly sell 4 up 2 and over £100. 4 the sellers this is great, but do u think the prices of these and other Prince collectables will increase? Or do u think they will reach a peak?

They're not being made anymore, so I can't see them coming down in price. I sold my second copy of One Nite Alone (piano), for about £60 7 years or so ago. the way I see it, it paid for that year's NPGMC, so I was more than happy with the price.

i've seen prices fluctuate quite a bit...depends on the timing, i think. shortly after a new album comes out is the time to sell. people's interests are piqued and they're willing to pay a premium to get the harder to find stuff...

i've sold the gold experience cd several times for $35 or more, but it can be had for much less now. i've seen the rainbow children vinyl sell for $465, it goes for around $150 now. and i've gotten $45 for the hits/b-sides 3cd package, but it has since been reissued, so it goes for less.

Should have bought a few extra copies of Rave In2 a few years ago before that online distributor closed down....I only bought the one, it was only around $30 new and sealed. Could have made a mint!

The prices definitely fluctuate. A stated above, the worst time to by would be after a new album drops - but it's great for sellers. I've been sitting on sealed extra copies of One Nite Alone (piano) and Rave In2, but missed the opportunity to get a ridiculous price for ONA about 3 years ago. I think one went for just under $300 US. I also have an extra Jill Jones and the 1-track Xenophobia version of Days Of Wild. I'll probably wait for the economy to pick up, a new album to drop and when folks get their tax checks in the mail. That would be a perfect storm to make a little cha-ching.

I remember seeing the Cloud guitar on ebay between 1998 and 2003 for $500-$900.
Then after Musicology you could hardly find one for under $1500.

I've been selling 21 nights, an ipod, and a plane ticket for me to personally come and punch you in the balls/vagina for $1500.00.

That's more content and less than the 2100.00 charges for the Prince Opus.

offer only valid in the 49 contiguous states orgnote for details.
Studies have shown the ass crack of the average Prince fan to be abnormally large. This explains the ease and frequency of their panties bunching up in it.

It's worth it just for the punch in the balls. Orgnote sent.

I paid $75 US for an unsealed ONA piano. I figured that was a steal because I've never seen one go for less than 100.

Are there fakes of The War out there? It makes sense, but I didn't know they were counterfeiting those too.

So..

Known counterfeits of officially released CDs:

Apollonia 6

The War

Goldnigga

Madhouse 8

Madhouse 16

Mazarati

I would imagine these are possibly out there as fakes, or will be:

Vanity 6

Jill Jones

One Nite Alone - Piano

Rave In2 The Joy Fantastic

it was either The War or Kamasutra that had JOTY and Face Down from the NYC cassette tacked on it that was going around for awhile.

Gotcha. At least these fakes can be easy to spot with the extra tracks they throw on them.

at the time, couldn't have cared less, since it was all only available on cassette and not a lot of people had the technology to rectify that lol

Yeah, too bad that cassette never got a legit CD pressing. I bought a stand alone CD Audio Recorder for just such things back in the day.
