Best Prince Song of the 90s?

Personally I think in the 90s Prince released some of his worst and best stuff.

What's everyone's favourite?

It's a coincidence we know about when he wrote it, we usually don't about most songs and can never be sure. That is why we take their release date to attach them to a certain time period. Makes the whole discussion easier wink

Yep - i think we should use release dates...
Which makes it a 90s track... (if we include '90)

Counting songs released in the 90's but recorded earlier, Joy in Repetition or maybe Question of U.

It's hard to choose after that. There's so much stuff. I like Peach a lot. Days of Wild, maybe.

It trips me out that this question pops up a lot concerning the 90's, as if there were so few good songs, it should be easy to pick one that's better than the rest. Truth is, there were tons of great songs in that decade.

With that in mind, here's a few of my favs off the top of my head:

The Ride
Thieves in the Temple
I Hate U
Beautiful Strange
When the Lights Go Down
Dark
5 Women
Don't Play Me
And God Created Woman
In This Bed I Scream
Endorphinmachine
Letitgo
Shhh
Same December
