When is this fucker going get with it and put out a decent dvd? Either the stuff is heavily edited or it looks horrible. Where's the great blue ray, high def, high sound quality other videos have?

Id love to see a compilation of Live performances. Make a 3 or 4 dvd set of the best Live footage from 78 to Present. AND HEAVY ON THE PERFORMANCES OF PURPLE RAIN!

Chrissie Hynde in a documentary in the Eighties said something interesting. She did not seem to be against bootlegs and said something along the lines of: "get a record of our music anyhow you can. And if you want a picture of us, write to us and we'll send you one".

Now I more agree with Hynde on this issue, but out of respect for Prince's opinion about his own music (even though I may disagree with it), I will try not to listen or view bootlegs of his music.

He's saving up all those live performances so that he can post them in a forum where he can make the money and maintain control. IF ONLY he had some sort of official pay site where he could release stuff like this. Too bad he has NO WAY of letting his fan base get a look at this stuff
