before the days of cds, I loved Dance On because I could actually listen to it with some degree of convenience

I love the song, but I'm not sure how well it sits after Anna Stesia, which is maybe why it gets forgotten.

absolutely LOVE this song. "a bass guitar in spider webs longin' for the funk...an uzi gun takes its place in the wagon trunk..." that's gotta be one of his most profound lyrics ever. i think in general as a lyricist he's kinda cheesy, though he does use symbolism well for the most part...but every now and then he whips out some amazing shit. makes my hair stand up...
