Really love the bass parts in the chorus. There was an extended version that was played by DJrashida @ 3121 Vegas. But it was never released will ALWAYS think of like a "ACT OF GOD"! N another realm. mean of all people who might of been aliens or angels.if found out that wasn't of this earth, would not have been that surprised. R.I.P.

Like "Kiss", it is the tight funk record that only Prince can make. Flawless and pristine. Probably the most underrated single he has ever released - along with Dinner with Delories.

What I don't get is that why Black Sweat wasn't requested more in clubs and radio. You got "My Humps" by the Peas, you got Timberlake's "Sexyback" etc but no Black Sweat. The DJs didn't seem to have it if it was requested.
Along with Black Sweat, I've always felt that "Illusion, Coma..." from Musicology, did not get what it deserved. Prince is totally getting funky with that one.

It makes me scream like a white lady. 'Nuf said. We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.
