all non album tracks, one off singles and soundtrack contribs. help me out here i wanted to make a playlist of all his non album tracks, bsides,
soundtrack contributions, one off singles etc that have been on various releases since the hits/bsides release. i'm including all songs, starting with the For You album until today. although i don't include real remixes of songs, unless they sound like completely new songs (loveleft/organ grinder), or songs are on the bsides compilation (apart from the 4 'new' songs that were released on it). also, for now, no live tracks, like the days of wild single or the san jose jam. i'm sure i'm still overlooking something but i don't know what song i'm not seeing here. can you guys tell me if i forgot anything here? 4 the tears in your eyes love or money alexa de paris sex get off/lubricated lady love left, love right horny pony violet the organ grinder 2 whom it may concern power fantastic pink cashmere peach pope poem [from come promo] funky design mad lovesign rock and roll is alive don't talk 2 strangers the war one song cybersingle splash when will we b paid? habibi van gogh instrumental my medallion contest song instrumental jukebox with a heartbeat breathe madrid 2 chicago purple house magnificent the united states of division silver tongue glass cutter s.s.t. / brand new orleans the song of the heart f.u.n.k. turn me loose disco jellyfish in a large room with no light purple and gold ... i'm also wondering about the original "beautiful strange".
was that 1st version, the stripped down one, in the video of the same name? i don't have those vids from that period. just wondering if the entire song as it's circulating is on that video and was ripped from that source or if it is still considered a 'real' bootlegged song that just popped up one day, somewhere, somehow. ![]() and true love lives on lollipops and crisps

dang, i wish "jukebox with a heartbeat" would have been released
in better quality. there's so much of that guitar twang going on in the background and you can barely make it out due to the &$^% quality of the audio. same goes for "glasscutter", it's a better bitrate but it's got that 'compressed' sound to it, like it would sound so much more alive if it had come in a lossless format or *heaven forbid* on a pressed cd, lol. that's what i hate about a lot of his internet releases, esp a couple of the tunes from the 1st 2 years of npgmc. they're just not of a good enough sound quality. for me, personally, there's a lot of nice material amongst that stuff but if you put it together in a playlist, the volumes are different on each track and the quality varies a lot too. and i haven't got some 3rd rate bootleg copies either, it's all as i downloaded it directly from the official sites. if he released it again, (yes, for some of these tracks it would be the third time round or something) i wouldn't mind at all. perhaps i'd even pay a few bucks for them if they were all just spruced up a bit in quality and all mixed to the same pitch. and true love lives on lollipops and crisps

here's one for your list...maybe. I always consider "Get Some Solo" and "Do Your Dance" to be actual songs and not remixes, a la "Violet" (and pretty much everything on the "NPG" single).
"Get Some Solo" is pretty obvious, and "Do Your Dance" less so, but really the first mix of it that appears on that maxi just takes some lyrics and pretty much makes a different song out of them. if you notice, everything that appears after it on the maxi is actually a remix of that track, and not "Cream." Kind of have the same feeling about the "Purple Party Mix" (I think? or is it another) of "Partyman," but less so, because it does share some more musical elements with the original than DYD.

nope. no live songs. i could include stuff like the 'san jose jam' or 'days of wild' (2001 single) etc but i just want studio recordings. ![]() thus, only the studio version of "4 the tears in ur eyes" is included. and true love lives on lollipops and crisps

CD-ROM version (2:55); original NPG Operator intro/outro and the NPG Operator interruption at the 1:20 mark. If I remember correctly this is the version that aired when Prince leaked songs from an early version of The Gold Experience to radio. CB version (3:03); "R U Ready?" intro and an extra verse at the 1:10 mark. >>
