When did he play T Monk's 'Round Midnight? Question for the setlist buffs among us...I have heard that Prince occasionally played Thelonius Monk's "'Round Midnight" during the ONA tour or aftershows. Is that true? Which shows? Many thanks | |

I don't recall him playing it. From memory, it's listed in the 'WNPG Playlist' in the accompanying booklet - but this was just a fictitious playlist for a fictitious radio station - not a list of songs they actually played. perhaps it was during the 3121 Jazz Cuisine shows? he did play a lot

Yes, you're right, it's in the booklet, but that's all evidence we have then... So it ends up on the "which covers do you wish he played live" list - a bit different from the covers he does now, would be a nice variation! | |
