Did I get screwed? So I went to my local music store today and purchased a used copy of Planet Earth for $7. First of all, the cover is holographic--were all copies this way? I thought I've seen copies that just have the photo of P standing over the earth. Secondly, the tracks were not listed on the back of the jewel case, nor were they listed anywhere on the inside--again, were all copies issued this way? Third, there was no booklet inside the jewel case--is there supposed to be one? I'm wondering if I got

this sounds like the legal, official released cd > you did not get screwed,
mine have that hologram too, and all had this - only not the Mail On Sunday, these had a paper cover wallet (whatever that is called) - but my LF cd copy is still sealed, but I think it's true that the title of the songs aren't listed anywhere. Let others correct me if not true. Prince 4Ever.

I bought mine new and sealed and ...
hell I can't remember if it had liner notes or not. But the cover/tray is supposed to be like that.

It's not a hologram.
The track listing is not on the case at all. There is no booklet. It's very basic in packaging.

Yeah, I can never remember that word. It's weird because just when I replied to the thread, I had come home from Borders, and they had these lenticular pictures for sale, including a ruler w/ penguins on it. They were so cool. It always reminds me of being a kid, because those types of pics were so popular in the 70's. The D&P cover was a hologram, btw.
