How do we make Prince happy (again)........... ? After all the negative comments to "Purple & Gold" & "Cause & Effect" Prince can't be that happy reading the Org.
Actually my guess is he's quite shocked by the reactions to his new song, he is of course used to critisism, but this has been a really "negative experience", my guess (again) is, he is not happy with us at all: Of course Orgers only speak their opinions and most of us are disappointed.... "Cause & Effect" wasn't the excellent track we all hoped for, people are beginning to doubt: will he ever release another brilliant song or album again. But lets forget the fan's negativity for a moment, and remember Prince as the true legend he is: who made us proud, writing, producing and playing some of the most brilliant music / albums on earth: Prince's Warner Bros. catalogue 1978-1995 will always be considered a brilliant work of art ! We hold Prince at a high standard. So if something doesn't sound like his old stuff, it doesn't sound so good. For me his guitar is great, but to most fans they listen to the hold arrangement. How to make Prince Happy That's Up To Him.
But for being so compassionate thats a nice thing and rare. We can only tell him the truth so he will continue making good music. I remember Lotusflow3r had the same affect. And when people started listening to it, then they began liking some of the songs. All we can do is discuss and be truthful. [Edited 2/26/10 22:00pm] | |
