Your favorite Prince (concert/dance moves)this is to hott!!

So Ive been on a kick of watching a lot of old Prince concerts on dvd... And as most of you are I am also hypnotized by Prince's dance moves... They are simply magical! biggrin So I have to ask what are your favorite Prince stage moves?

A) the splits..

B) the ground humpage... ( I visualize him performing Head )

C) the microphone stand grinding...

D) the repetitive pelvic thrusts lol (oh god I just think Darling Nikki everytime) wink

E) All of thee above...

F) Add your own if there is some significant ones I forgot...(I'm sure I did)

The splits! Especially when he does them multiple times in a row...just amazing to watch.

I also really loved the synchronized moves he'd do with the other members of the Revolution.

Of course the splits will always be number 1 but my second favorite dance move is in the Sign o the Times concert movie. I think that it's during "Hot Thing" and he has one leg off to the side and moves his arm back and forth as if pulling his leg by a string. It's a cool move and I use it out on the dance floor too.

In the SOTT film during "Housequake", after "ain't that a bitch...I think it's Cat."

On his back, sliding across the floor, then the pop up splits.

Gets me everytime!!!

That's hot. I love that move.

I also love the simple microphone toss, tip back, circle under leg, etc. When he did it before verse one of "Baby I'm A Star" in the movie...he just nailed it.

When I saw him during the Dirty Mind era masturbating his guitar solo, I said that's a rock star

I love the sync moves with his band, mostly seen prior 2 1990
my favorites are: Let's Go Crazy, Computer Blue*, When Doves Cry, Girls & Boys, A Love Bizarre(Sheila E combined with the Revolution) SNL Electric Chair

Here's the thing about P's moves - It's sort of a interpretation of what's going on inside, in other words, He's "feelin" the music. I feel your watching a very personal expression of what going on inside. Nothing choreographed it's truly a personal expression. I liken it to watching old school James Brown, you can't watch the brother and not know it's his own for all the world to see. smile Having said that.....it's just plain HOTNESS!!!! to watch cool

DUH. This isn't a new concept for anyone who is a musician and has a few moves too. The same can be said for the mood or lyrical content of a song. "They're writing what they FEEL". Well yeah...the sun comes up in the east too.

Not quite what i was saying. I'm more talking about choreographed moves verses spontaneous moves from the music. Not to say they are not perfected or NEVER choreographed, but the gist of what i was saying was more relative to watching a james brown live performance.

It's exactly what you were talking about. You said he was feeling his music and his moves were not choreographed, but rather what's going on inside of him. I said that's indicative of anyone who is enjoying what they're doing when performing.
