What books does he read?

What spiritual books do we know he reads apart from the bible?
I'm curious to find out where he gets a lot of his teachings from.

It's almost like there is an "event horizon" for stupidity - once you fall below that line, you're too stupid to know you're stupid.

the only thing i'm sure he's read is betty j eady's "embraced by the light"
since he mentioned it as an inspiration for "dolphin", and i'm sure it was
also the inspiration behind "into the light".

lately some of his lyrics, especially the line in "wall of berlin" that
goes "is that the queen of sheba or an alien dream" makes me think that
he's also read Gustave Flaubert's "the temptation of Saint Anthony".

Probably a bound version of the Watchtower pamphlets.

I don't know exactly. However I would think that Prince has read a little on every subject out there.

In Prince's music, U know that Prince talks about the space/time illusion, so Prince has read science books. I've heard Prince has read some Shakespeare, and maybe Khalil Gibran.

I wonder if Prince has ever read, "The Seat of the Soul," and "Dance of the Wi Li Master," by Gary Zukav.
I also wonder if Prince has read any of the Elizabeth Clair Prophet Books.
Possibly, Shakti Gawain? cool

Have you seen that website where Brian Bolland deconstructs this comic cover? Kinda cool.

“I don’t read many books,” prince told Vox in 1995, “but I have read Embraced By The Light. It was inspired by a near-death experience. It throws light on the little things in day-to-day life.”

He probably read Kama Sutra, too. wink

As for non-spiritual books...

I can't remember what program is was in, but I remember some video or program (likely in the mid-1990's) where there was a shot of his desk in his office in Paisley and there was a copy of Nicholas Pileggi's "Casino" (the nonfiction book the Scorsese film was based on) amongst the paperwork.

Also, let's not forget his obsession with the dictionary during the days of "CONtracts"...

sighI wish Prince would read about the life of St. Anthony the Great, the father of Christian monasticism. Or anything by the early Church Fathers, for some real spiritual nourishment.

Probably something like this, given his interest in conspiracy theories, Egypt and Biblical times...

Prince being a Jehovahs Witness would only read wholesome material ie nothing violent pornoraphic (sad but True) and nothing to do with spiritual things in a psychic way ie star guides meduim stories and forcasts etc this os all agains Jehovah witness belief.
He would avidly read anything published by the watchtower society and this can be found online under watchtower society. U can find out about any of this by visiting any Kingdom hall of Jehovahs Witnesses near u found in the phone book.

Publications by the watchtower society are: The greatest man who ever lived, The Reasoning Book, The knowledge book, Creation or Evolution, The family book, The Isaiah book parts 1 & 2, Daniels phrophecy, The Revelation Book, mankinds Search for god, etc plus lots of magazine type brochures not to mention the fortnightly (every 2wks) Watchtower and Awake magazinews
U Can Come If U Want 2 But U Can Never Leave
