Just curious, Who wrote, "Funky Dunky?" I was listening to "Indigo Nights," this morning.
I know Harry Connick Jr.'s version of "Funky Dunky." Who wrote this song? "The Lion Sleeps Tonight...

I believe Harry wrote it himself. [Edited 2/10/10 12:15pm]

All the tunes on "She" are written by Harry Connick and/or Ramsay McLean, a dynamite lyricist. I have often wished Prince would try out some New Orleans grooves in his funk, as it's such a different rhythmic approach. I guess with P being from up noth and NOLA being down south never the twain shall meet...
But P did a couple of Reggae tracks, and that's further from Minneapolis than Nyawlins! One can always dream... Take it - like Clarence said:
"I got a million of them - all different U know."
