In the sense that he has had a "crystal ball" be a thematic element even as a prop on stage, writes songs with supernatural elements like "There's Others Here with Us" or "Dance with the Devil" and uses that sort of vibe to push songs like "Superfunkycalifragisexi" with it's deep organ tones and talk of drinking blood. I think backto the scene in Purple Rain where he plays the backwards girl crying and does the magic hand moves in front of Appolonia's face as prettymuch Prince trying to be spooky.

Now I think he uses it all for effect and symbolism of his aggressive moods, depressed moods, prophetic moods, etc. Not that he is really into some sort of ritualistic established shit.

But his use of hidden messages and backmasking, bizarre supernatural themes to both his music and sounds, and his lyrics, and even stage persona. When I watch the Hot Thing organ intro... I think voodoo.
