Prince "Open Sessions" Vols. 1 and 4

Found Prince's "Open Sessions: Vols. 1 and 4" today at a used record store. I like Vol. 1 more than Vol. 4. The sound quality is better on Vol. 1 than 4--esp. for the first three songs on Vol. 4: "Sometimes It Snows In April", "I Love U In Me", and P's cover of the Rufus' song "Sweet Thing." At the end of Vol. 4 "The Ride" and "Flashlight" are good. "I Love U in Me" is much better on Vol. 1. I pretty much enjoyed Vol. 1 over-all, although, you have to turn the volume up and the bass is pretty loud. These shows were recorded at Paisley Park in '95. Who attended these shows and what do you think of these recorded versions?
