Is this a timing error, or is the version on the promo the same as the LP version?

And timing is always misprinted. Most of the CD players I've put Emancipation in have timed at 59:59, not 60:00. No edits there.

I'd be willing to bet it's the same length as the album version. Perhaps the label added "Edit" to urge DJs to play it thinking it may be a shorter version than the album. If the track is actually one second shorter then technically it is edited. Or it's probably just a timing mistake. I'd be willing to bet that it is no different than the album version. If someone out there has it I'd love to be proved wrong.
