Btw... if it wasn't cheating I, too, would choose The HITS/ The B-SIDES, despite only 1 song from Lovesexy, that collection is fan-tas-tic.

I feel the same about Emancipation, I was loving every Prince album untill this was released in 1996. Now I like this album, Emancipation, after a lot of listenings, maybe you should give Lovesexy some more spins in the cd-player? To me Lovesexy is a beautiful "concept" album, only Dance On, is only ok/ not so good, well: imo.

One day I'll get round to doing a bit of remxing with some tracks. I had the idea of replacing the plasticky drum machine and synthy bass on some tracks with Sonny & Michael's 'funky ass loops'. See if I can't NPG 'em up a bit! Haha

I've been spinning the hell out of Lovesexy and GB lately, there are more songs on LS that I like than on GB. It's the album as a whole that I'm not extremely fond of, but I have to admit there are some very good songs on it (it only took me about 20 years to become aware of that, haha). I'm not into the Ingrid Ch. delerium...
