Prince Charming

Prince’s musical charm continues to be magically irresistible. “King of the Keys,” “Genius on Guitar,” or “Romeo of the Stereo.” There are never ending adjectives that attempt to describe the emotional movement Prince has shared.

In my music listening experience, “Charm,” has a power to take you off guard: A song that can bring U to tears, take you to a sad or happy memory, songs that sexually arouse U, or even songs that stir up controversial thoughts.

At times, listening to Prince’s music, we may have been allured by a, “Horny Toad,” and then ethereally kissed by a Prince that has a charm to leave a lasting impression.

What two songs by Prince have left the deepest impression on your life? And Why?

~Although this is something so difficult to do, I will choose:

~“With You.” I don’t have to be listening to this record for Prince’s voice to play in my mind. When Prince sings, “I guess my eyes can only see as far as U…I Only want 2 be with U.” I cannot believe I will ever hear any voice singing anything any sweeter. I could cry.

~”Sweet Baby.” The profound lyric from this song, “The road U choose 2 walk in this life, is the one that leads into the next…So, Sweet Baby, Stand Tall.” Lifted my spirits. Jesus and Prince’s light in these words were my friends in a sad place in my life. I have also discussed these lyrics meaning in conversation as a part of a Christian example of living.

I love The Holy River and it's lyrics and message...don't like to say it's my favorite, but one of them.

I Wish U Heaven ....love the dreamy approach to this song...and such a wonderful thing to say to someone....even if I see 7 and you see 11....we can disagree, but I still wish u heaven...brilliant.

I know that Larry Graham sings on "Temptation," from Day 1...and a few years ago, someone said that Prince helped to write the song, "Mary Lou." I don't know it that's true or not, do U Revolution?
