Diggin' the tasty joint but I don't quite understand some of the lyrics... I know there are other threads to rate the song. I started a new thread for the enlightened to give their opinions on what the lyrics may or may not mean. thanks.

not sure what this lyric is supposed to mean. Why would Prince want to change his next of kin? And "the taste for sin?" Of course P has the taste for sin. That's what makes him human. I'm just wondering where he's going with this. any thoughts. Overall, I enjoy listening to the song and appreciate P taking the time to release new material.

~We all look at everyone around us as brothers and sisters...the family around here just don't treat Prince very nice.

~A taste for sin could mean that he'd wish everyone around him would jump in the lake.

~a shadow can't hide his face from the sun, as we can't hide from what we become. Our spirits are gardens beautiful and terrible. We need to weed them everyday...That's regret for some of the seeds we may have planted.

~Prince probably would have been happier as a Husband and Father and left this Fame behind him, however Prince has a spiritual calling so he keeps on truckin'. God Bless Him.
