Just watched the emancipation proclmation dvd, which was a pro-shot recording for mtv from paisley park. I just wondered how many more pro-shot concerts there were and tv broadcasts. The only one I know was the musicology staples center which was played at cinemas and the septimo tv broadcast.

Is there a defenitive list, or a site to look at for reference??

I love the rendition of JIR from that gig, watch it many times even though those performances were lip synched.

I wish that VH1 Classic Concerts picked up the Lovesexy germany concert! Thats probably his best legal concert that they could show on tv.

Yes, I have to agree Prince's performance of "Joy in Repetiton" during this show was nothing short of incredible. The guitar solo was the reason why I love to see Prince play the guitar, like Hendrix, Prince makes you feel what he is playing.
