I would like Prince to actually do something with Michael Jackson's "BAD". It was intended to be a duet after all and if Prince edited it, could incorporate his own vocals and probably a wicked guitar solo in the mix www.nextpowergeneration.com PS3's own NPG!

holy shit, yes. "in bloom" by nirvana too. the guitar solo he'd pop over it would be amazing. Power tends to corrupt; absolute power corrupts absolutely. - Lord Acton

he could really make it funky I use to love me some Wa Wa Nee (Aussie band from late 80's). Paul Gray-lead singer-was a massive Prince fan. There are a few songs with a definite Prince vibe- Can't Control Myself, Giving Everything (which I'm convinced has a similar rhythm and bass as Dance 4 Me) and a b-side called Rubber Cookie. There are more but there names escape me. Prince could take their songs to a different level. what about sugarfree? seems that i was busy doing something close to nothing, but different than the day before

"Shotgun," Junior Walker and the Allstars
"Let's Get It On," Marvin Gaye "Sexual Healing," Marvin Gaye Don't recall who mentioned it, but I agree "I Put A Spell On You" would be fun. I also can see him singing "Church of a Poison Mind." Really, any old soul would be great for P to cover because he just has the voice to pull off many of the great songs from the 50's, 60's and 70's. I would love to hear him cover some old brooke benton, sam & dave, fats domino, etc. U know he would kill it on ballads, and funk it up just right on the more upbeat songs!

I also would love to see P cover a large variety of blues, and dabble into the New Orleans sound- maybe cover some Professor Longhair, Dr Johns (upbeat Dr John). P would kill it on piano with someone like the Dirty Dozen Brass Band providing the horns! Just thinking bout this got me excited. P gotta love the New Orleans sound (rooted in jazz, blues, gospel)... we've scene him delve into almost all areas of music but not the New Orleans sound. Zydeco, Brass based Jazz- I would love to see this!

I honestly believe if he did this, and really did his best at it, this song would be on the radio. We are all so full of here

since he seems to be such a fan of incorporating covers into his most recent shows i think he should do "pick up the pieces" and "cut the cake" by average white band.

He even did it the same night as Come Together one time. Incredible! [Edited 1/13/10 21:29pm] [Edited 1/13/10 21:30pm]
