I totally agree with that. If you are a grounded person, money can only enhance your life. It's people who don't know how to deal with it that get into trouble. I come from a family who didn't have alot of money, but my mother became succesful in her early 40's through real estate, so I always remind people that you can make changes at any time in your life, if you have the will to do so. My Mom always had respect for money and still clips coupons, but it's her ability to respect money that makes her use it wisely, and she still has fun.

Cool Sensitivemthrfker... ur mom sounds like a very humble woman ... I can relate to that "saying" Prince said...I can justify the meaning of that for sure.

Or...what about "MONEY DONT MATTER TONIGHT?" "NO, BUT IT WILL TOMMORROW?" I've honestly NEVER met a homeless person who was "happy". But i HAVE met many ppl "with money" who were unhappy. I think one must have a certain amount of income coming in to be contented at least. ppl sometimes talk about "the hungry years" being so great and bonding with family was ultimately enhanced, but without a certain amount of funds, one's health deteriorates and with that, one CANT be happy. Being wealthy is probobly "great", but u need your health there too. wealth cannot be enjoyed withut one's health. it's time we thank God 4 the really IMPORTANT things we have in life, cuz life CAN b a BITCH! May the BELLS ring 4 U even when ur not in love.

I thought it was money can't buy you love, but it helps with the search.
I think it depends on the individual if money can buy you happiness or not. Some of the richest people are unhappy. On the other hand money can enrich some peoples lives.

It really will help pay for the search. I'd like to search around the world - anybody got a dolla?

Hmmm i guess id have 2 determine which is the better situation... 2 b broke & dumb... or 2 b rich & dumb ... uh well... it seems both of em 'bite the mega weenie'... cuz either way ud never b balanced... so yep essentially we r all screwed Ok really the Princely line that sums it all up 4 me is: "He never had respect 4 money its true, thats y he never wins..." But the search thing sounds cooler Money isnt just power its life... [This message was edited Tue Jan 14 2:39:15 PST 2003 by harmony] Got Gackt??!

It can be either...I mean love is there always...either you love them and they do not love you or they love you and you do not love them. One can always love themselves but without somebody like the right person meaning a compatable person someone who honestly loves you, trusts you and loves you unconditionally and you love them this way also in return then there is always a void in ones happyness in LIFE, not themselves but in life...So for that, so true in MONEY CAN'T BUY YOU HAPPYNESS BUT IT CAN PAY FOR THE SEARCH ... Now money can not buy LOVE for sure...One might not know how to show love so to them giving the one they love what they desire is not actually buying them love. And we all have desires! But if "that" one depends or expects the one with money to buy them "things" than that is not love, they do not love you...Because the gift has to have come from ones heart, not that (the other person) somebody's request.I think it depends on the individual if money can buy you happiness or not. Some of the richest people are unhappy. On the other hand money can enrich some peoples lives. [This message was edited Tue Jan 14 9:44:50 PST 2003 by OceanaOne]

No it can't. Family,Friends and having a well rounded Social Life and Career and being active in enjoyable things bring Happiness. Money well, it can buy you a good Therapist to talk to ,but it can't even buy you friends. Well, not True Ones.

Money well, it can buy you a good Therapist to talk to ,but it can't even buy you friends. Well, not True Ones. There is a difference in one being happy and one finding someone to SHARE that happyiness with...Believe it or not SOME peeps try to take away ones happiness...This I refuse to give up.. I am happy myself but would LOVE to have someone to share it with Who will not take it away..I do not like to hear, "you dont make me happy anymore" It is not ones responsibility to make another happy. Happiness should come from within ones self..and then WANT to find a happy person to SHARE that happyness together. So to that..Money cant buy you happiness but YES it can help pay for the search...I mean happiness does not exist just in the city, state, I live in.. There are happy people in other places too!

Maybe the parents died and as far as friends...We all know a friend cannot share your happiness with you..you can share the joy and excitement of it with them. A social life is always good this is how we learn about others and associate in life but this does not go home with you...A "career" no matter what a person NEEDs in order to have a normal lifestyle (but depends on lifestyle one is accustumed to).. Being active is always a must, dancing, walking, riding, running .. Good for YOUR BODY!

Well yes OceanaOne but I do believe taking care of yourself and being Comfortable in your Own skin and Alone will show. You are also right in your saying that Family isn't always around so True. A person should find Peace in doing things they enjoy. Get involved and don't be a stick in the mud. Get Active with Groups and things. If all else Fails a good Doctor can prescribe Anti-Depresants. But one shouldn't drown their Sorrows in a Bottle or Abuse Drugs because of Depression.

Depression and drugs are a whole different story here.. I travel ALOT...like 5 times a year..I go where ever I want. I work two jobs and I have work out when I can find the time..But being happy with ones self and wanting somebody to share it with is NOT depressing..lonely but not depressing...life is to short to let it get to ones self that deep...Life is to long to live it alone...
