This is my favourite post this week. Love it. Only a Prince fan can liken some dude (sorry Ernest) sat at his computer editing out bits of songs with the evil instigator of the hollocaust! Actually thInk about that for a second... I'd love to see Ernest's To Do list: 1, remove TC Ellis from New Power Generation 2, see what I can do about Doug E Fresh 3, invade Poland. Prince isn't perfect. He makes mistakes. One of which is called Tony M. Ernest isn't travelling town to town replacing his version of D&P with the original. He ain't rewriting the bible. And the best thng is you don't have to listen to his version. 
but if I were you, I'd give it a try at least to see what you think. It really is a better album without the T meister

I took a handful of songs and edited a few things here and there to make them flow a bit better. Could you do it again and also edit out Rosie Gaines' man-sized bellowing, the repetitive sampled beat/flute loops and any attempt by Prince to rap? Thanks!  I think Tony's voice cheapened anyone else on the record. Just her and Prince bouncing vocals back and forth isn't such a bad thing. | |

erik the NPG song might be tough. I had one mixed both parts of NPG into one regular song. But of course that put TC into as well as Robin whatshername. Doug isn't in that much of anything. Why ya gotta hate on Poland? | |

During this era, I can't say that I'm too huge of a fan of anyone not named "Prince," so I'd certainly be interested in hearing this.
