Not sure of an ideal line-up, but at least one member of the band should be in charge of punching Prince in the neck if he tries to record anything like Purple And Gold again. If prince.org were to be made idiot proof, someone would just invent a better idiot.

What I would like 2 see/hear is Prince inviting certain band members of his/proteges to just sync with some music
get Jessie Dez Wendy Mico TonyChristian guitars Andre BrownMark Rhonda bass Fink Lisa Hayes St Paul piano syth keyboard Morris Day or John Blackwell & Sheila E. drums & percussion Bobby Z(linn/electric drumming -no one worked it like him) David Z, Eric Leeds Eddie M. Candy & Atlanta Bliss sax frenchhorn trumpet Jill Susannah Brenda Bennett Tamar Cat (voice) Finge cymbols, tambourines and a few others, put them in areas of instruments and create a layered sound with some of his songs like Tangerine, Tambourine, Sometimes It Snows in April, Mountains, Ure Gonna C Me, Rainbow Children, On songs that are just bass drums/percussion,tambourine, finger cymbals then only those played Songs like Sometimes It Snows In April only pianoes & guitars I think he needs to do something like this 2 shake himself up and to get that 'family' feel that can bring new ideas to him [Edited 2/19/10 12:35pm]
