OrgQuest: Does anyone know where the Glam Slam Yokohama was

I live in central Yokohama and would like to go look for it. Any information would be helpful. If I find the old building I will submit pictures of what it looks like now.

If prince.org were to be made idiot proof, someone would just invent a better idiot.

Pretty impressive building. smile
Perhaps I also should make a scale model of this one.

Hey, don´t rush me. smile

I´ve been contemplating a scale model of Paisley Park ever since my girlfriend walked around the building in July 1990 and made some great shots of every angle. I´m hoping to finish it before July 2010.

That's the kind of car my roommate has, there in the first parking space. A Nissan Cube. Same color (Bitter Chocolate, which SO fits his personality) as well.

rolleyes I guess I can wait. lol

When I was a kid, I would make small buildings and then blow them up with firecrackers. That's probably not normal behavior - but it was fun. nutty

I like those Cubes. The fact that someone green-lighted an asymmetrical production car just makes me smile. And that little tuft of shag carpeting on the dashboard tells me that Japanese industrial designers like to get their toke on.

My roommate demanded the carpet. haha He loves it.
We have an orange one of these on the carpet:

When you turn him on, he reacts to music, so while on the road, he talks and moves a lot.

There are all sorts of weird little features and designs in the car, the ripple roof not withstanding:

My daughter has that doggie for her iPod. She has the pink flowered dog, of course. I forgot about that ripple. Whimsy-cool.

I tried finding another orange one for him, but I couldn't, so he uses mine. I have the Penguin as well, and a Wall*E, and a Panda Bear from WowWee.

The ripple is reflected in the knobs to the cig lighter, and other accessory knobs. There are also mini bungie type cords on the doors. They come in white, gold, red, and orange. They're made to change out for the sake of decor. He loves the keyless ignition. As long as we have the keychain in our pockets and are close to the car (about 7' away at most), we can just push a button on the door handle and it will automatically unlock for us. There is a key inside the keyring to get in a door if needed.

Bayhall, I was there last week. It is a fairly nice hip-hop club now. Thanks everyone!
