For me it has to be the CD's [all be it hit and miss on the quality BUT new music will always be appreciated] and the Canal TV performance which was a great way to show that he was still so damn C.O.O.L.

The documented Monaco and Paris shows were of a good quality and very enjoyable. It was good to see Prince introduce some surprising additions to his set lists this year ('The Love We Make','Girl', 'Mountains', 'All Day, All Night') and breath new life into some old classics ('Take Me With You', 'Little Red Corvette', 'AnotherLoverHolenYoHead').

Fuck LotusFlow3r/MPLSound/Elixer though. They pretty much all sucked by and large.

Loved the albums, still listening to Lotus loads and MPLSound regularly.

The Paisley Park concert October 24, 2009.

i didn't get to see him perform live this year, so for i guess it's the cd-set, and watching him on leno, ellen, and tavis.

The Grand Palais show #1 was not only "my 2009 P highlight" but also "my lifetime P highlight" (it was my first time )

I'm always keeping Prince on the stereo weekly. I listen to all of Prince's cd's within the duration of a year.

It was nice seeing Prince on tv.

seeing him at the tonight show in march.

and most importantly seeing him at paisley park and having him walk by me several times. (his makeup was beautiful haha!)

It's very hard for me to answer to the 2009P highlights.
I have many P live highlights this year.
Montreux, the surprise setlists, most notably to me 'All This Love', 'All The Critics...' And Empty Room'.
The Paris Grand Palais shows, both have high and lows but 'Purple Rain' at the second show in this place with the rain pouring down in the purple lights... Wow, that was really magical!
Paris La Cigale the surprise gig. An extraordinary gig with so many highlights and great feelings, 'Forever In My Life' and memory this concert will be!
Paris Canal + TV, what a performance! It was funny to be there and see all the crew didn't knowing what was going on next and being surprised as much as us.
And the Triple CD has some great moments, some great songs are included(Dreamer, Old Skool Company, All This Love to only list only one from each).
2009 was a great P year for me (if i forget about the website disappointment).

As I have to choose one, the 'La Cigale Show' is my favorite P 2009 Highlight.

Well, hearing Prince sing The love we make outside the Opéra in Monaco and meeting MrHayes was very cool.
The whole stalking him stuff a few days later was exciting too. Too bad I didn't see him behind the umbrellas.

Having him pass me from a distance of 1 foot in Paris and being very close to the stage was definitely Thé highlight of 2009. He looked and sounded fabulous.
The Canal+ performance for me is one of the best and happiest performances of his in years. La Cigale sounded good too.
The cd's didn't do that much for me sadfully.

Seeing the vids from Montreux was very cool too and Lottielooloo's accompanying pics.

Hearing Little Read Corvette from the Montreaux show.

Simply amazing! (There were 2 versions... but one was mind blowing!)

A close second would be The Lotus Flower CD. A very fine album, with a few songs that reminded me of why Prince is phenomenal... Boom, Here, Crimson and Clover, and $.

Looking forward to what might be in store for 2010. Hopefully I'll finally make my pilgrimmage to Minneapolis!

Watching him perform live on French television and radio, whilst playing Mountains especially was ever so cool!

Off on vacation now so everyone, I wish you a lovely Christmas, peaceful days and a musical time !
