Life O' the party question

Probably should believe everything I read, im curious as to this. According to some sources, this song was aimed at Michael Jackson in a fashion? True? Reason?

What sources?
Studies have shown the ass crack of the average Prince fan to be abnormally large. This explains the ease and frequency of their panties bunching up in it.

"My voice is getting higher, ain't never had my nose done" is a line some people think was directed at Michael Jackson.

I don't think the whole song was about him, though.

Yeah, as if MJ was the only person to ever have his nose done in the music industry. Let's not even start THAT list.

No, the song isn't about MJ. Did he make a stab at MJ? Maybe. He's childish that way, done it more than once. I don't remember MJ ever making a stab at Prince in his music, or Janet either.

I never got where folks thought he had a nose job anyway. His features, although aged a tad, look exactly like they were 20 years prior. Even Prince said his face changed a bit when he finally cut out animal product. But the nose? Crazy.

And if anything, his voice is not getting higher. Most singers who age end up singing a tad lower. It's a natural thing.

Michael Jackson said in the Martin Bashir Interview that he had a nose job to hit higher notes to be factual, and Prince made this quote what, a year after that interview? It was a direct jab.

Yeah, because Prince is watching everything MJ does (with not having an album out for what...3 or 4 years at that point), and figures out who to make a jab at him. rolleyes Let's be real. People thinking this shit goes on are no better than the tabloids back in the day, or today, creating drama that's not there.

Bit too vague for it to be a jab, IMO.

Same with the people who thought Michael was making a jab at Prince on "Invincible" when he sang "He might buy you diamonds and pearls but he can't do it like me".
