Internships at Paisley Park Don't know if
A) this is in the right forum, or B) I should even ask this question, But, are there internship positions available at Paisley Park? I'm about to (finally) graduate college in May, and I'm looking at attending grad school in the Twin Cities, so I thought I'd ask. I realize that there's most likely no such thing as a "purple apprenticeship" program. And even if there were, what shot would a 29 year-old disabled dude with bachelor's degrees in English and French and no previous work experience have at working for Prince??? I can dream, can't I? https://www.youtube.com/@PurpleKnightsPodcast

The pressure is simply because he expects the same dedication as he has in those around him. Prince is not much different from most prolific talented perfectionists in that way. He's also improved the skills of anyone who has worked 4 him, and is known 2 build confidence. One of my friends was actually responsible 4 (completely) deleting anything Prince told him 2 delete. He was responsible 4 much more than that, but can U imagine hearing some new fantastic music from P, and having 2 be the one 2 delete it entirely? Not everything goes into the vault. . Even if you pass the background check and do well in the interview, are you prepared to purify yourself in the waters of Lake Minnetonka?

I don't know about working for Prince. He might be difficult to work for unless he really likes you.
I just joke I would love to be his chef, but in reality... I could not fit that into my schedule. LOL. Still I love to dream of being his chef.

He was responsible 4 much more than that, but can U imagine hearing some new fantastic music from P, and having 2 be the one 2 delete it entirely? Not everything goes into the vault. I have no work experience - and thus no resumé. But, anyone who knows me knows that when I'm doing something I love (writing, singing, DJing, etc.), I put my whole heart and soul into it. I'm such a perfectionist that sometimes I psyche myself out, thinking that everything I do is going to turn out to be pure no matter how hard I try. More often than not, I receive overwhelmingly positive feedback that both shocks and delights me: "shocks" me in the sense that I'm always sure I could've done way better; "delights" me in the sense that I've risen above my self-doubt and created something that others appreciate, even though I myself couldn't appreciate it at first. If Prince were my boss, I would work my off for him, both because I want to continue to learn from him and be inspired by him, and I because I want to repay him in whatever way I can for having been the blessing he has been to me throughout my entire life. Working for Prince wouldn't be easy, but it would be a sincere labor of love and respect on my part. https://www.youtube.com/@PurpleKnightsPodcast

And where is he having the charity concerts, or recording albums, or storing his gear? He has no home, per se, in Minneapolis.
