I'd love 2 work for Prince too.
I did send an application and unfortunately did not recieve a reply.

I assume that Prince has a zillion people that want to work for him.

I keep hoping Prince will hire me someday.

Good Luck bluefish. cool

And of course DREAM.....

Go for your dream Blue. It can't hurt to try.

Go to the Paisley Park homepage that has been posted here, you have phone numbers there. It is a real work place, not Prince's private home, so why not give it a try? smile Just think about whether you simply want to work there because youre a fan of Prince or because you're (also) interested in the business and want to pursue a career. Think about what you have to offer and what you are interested in.
Prince surely makes a very hard and difficult boss, but there are plenty of them everywhere... The media industry is full of big egos, just believe in yourself and do your best;)

Good luck!

Oh, you mean the page that's black? Uh huh.

And frankly, this whole thing is futile. Paisley Park is not a thriving studio like it was in the late 80's and early 90's when it was actually being used for filming of movies, and where other artists used it as a recording studio. There are no interns, and any staff is minimal. Lobby guy, security (maybe), an engineer, and a janitor, at best.

No the one she posted is working for me. I thought PP was still in use, more than you say. The site is dated to 2006 and offers recording studios and all that. Well, anyways, applying for a job can't hurt, even if nothing comes out of it. Of course, applying for jobs at other companies too is a good idea. There are plenty of 'em.

I tried sending in a resume in 1994...

But in 1993, they were very interested in anyone who was interactive/software/programming oriented. Then Prince canned the lady I was talking to.... she was the manager of Paisley Park Enterprises

The truth is that there are plenty of people that would love to work with Prince...and so many are capable.

I'm cut out to be a wife. That is a job in a sense. It's just that U get to love sonebody and that is a priceless paycheck.

You guys may make fun of me...but I'm a good wife, with 20 years experience...and 5 years of living on my own...I suck at lonliness....I'd rather cook and clean, decorate and iron. Run errands and rub shoulders.

The One thing I have whether or not Prince hires me is sincerity. I beleive we could make eachother happy given the opportunity. cool

Is Paisley Park even a functional, actually staffed, open studio?

You just want to meet Prince, dont front. No way you're getting in.
