 I would tell him that he is too closed off to his fans, I think he should open up more, I mean with the internet having such great sites like this one. I think prince could very easily pick out the safe ones to respond too, verses the not so safe too respond too. Prince seems to be to clsed off to his public and that is truely unfrotunate to his respectable friends as he likes to call his fans. i would tell him not all your friends want the obvious fantasies that society builds on people that enjoy a certain artist. I started following princes career a long while back and it was because he says something to me as he does others. So I think Prince should reach out more to his friends and maybe he will be pleasently please that alot of us are not fanatics but good everyday people. | |

That is so strange I dreamt that he called me at work (a woman spoke to me first and asked me not to scream when I realised who it was that wanted to talk to me) and then it was prince that spoke and he just said that he wanted to thank me for my nice letter (which I have yet to write) and not to tell anyone he called - which I did as asked. Strange dream. If I ever had the chance to speak to him for real, I would just like to say a big thank you for all the wonderful music and what would I tell him about himself, just that he's ok and keep doing what his doing - please. Why would he be interested in any thoughts I may have about him - I don't actually know him as a person? | |

Does he or has he ever loved someone he would die for? is he fulfilled? how does he separate the sychophants from the real friends? why does he let the world think he pushes people away when really hes still friends with everyone pretty much hes ever worked with? Does he regret not marrying sheilaE? Why does he never smile in his pictures but does in reality and is very funny? Why does he enjoy parties with strangers? and why is he not afraid of his fans? and leading on from that: why does he let the whole world think that he hates fans by piss poor marketing errors? Is he aware fans feel dissatisfied? does he care? How does he justify to himself his faith and his life? How does he qualify his wealth and money making schemes with his faith? he once said he collects pretty things - is bria part of that collection? who does his heart really belong to? does he miss Mayte? does he regret Mani? why does he rename everyone around him? and finally Would he like a friend? I would be so interested to have a discussion or conversation in depth with prince. I think he has a lot to say on lots of issues. But most of all I would like to know how his inspiration comes to him? how does he write? does he hear a chord, does he hear a refrain, does he think of a lyric, does he jam with his friends and write with them?
