Is Prince the man that you love 2 hate?...I've read so many negative things on here concerning Prince...everyone seem 2 be upset because some feel that he don't put on a good show because he doesn't sing some of his old songs ...they say his music is boring now I just read a thread...Doc funkenberry reporting a paisley park show this weekend...Now every one is saying ...I'll be there,I want 2 go,where do you buy tickets etc...so is Prince the man that you love 2 hate a true fan wouldn't do that...I true fan wouldn't betray you...I would love 2 go 2 the concert but its a short notice...Every one thats going have fun...I knew that you couldn't turn your back on Prince you have 2 love him if your willing to travel so far 2 see him...

I love Prince, but that's not the same as I am non-critical..


I love to hate Robbie Williams, Madonna, Lady Gaga and a lot more so-called "artists" on MTV.

earnest and many others are his true fans because they appretiate his amazing talents even when sometimes you wonder if Prince appretiates his own talents. I assure you that they are not fair weather fans that will drop him should he change his faith or produce another album that they think is inferior. I like hearing their opinions because they are educated and thought out opinions. I think ernest would say it to Prince's face and do so because he wants Prince to snap out of this "love like jazz" crap. PRINCE IS A MUSICAL GENIUS. Of course we want him to use that God given talent and not sell a bunch of fluff that Britney Spears could have written.

Just as Prince is a walking contradiction, so are his fans.

I am also born in 1961 juat like you but I have bought about 19 or 20 of his CD's over the last year and see that he has some absolutely amazing stuff out there mixed in with some clear rubbish. TRC ( the rainbow children) is one I am suprised you do not list. It was his first release, to my knowledge, after being baptized a Jehovah's Witness. It is critisized by many but is a whole lot more cohesive IMO than Lotusflow3r is. He also doesn't sing Halleluh in a disrespectful way on TRC either.

Good points Ladychel. However, I'd say it's easier to hate than to love.
When you love, one has to put themself aside for a moment. Hate is easier, because you can just ride with your emotions which are often out of control.

Prince loves to hate his fans. The LF website proves that. I'm sure the concert this weekend will be awesome and everyone will have a fantastic time, but he certainly didn't make it easy for anyone to get to see it.

But seeing Prince in concert is worth fighting for. I have a ton of negativity regarding his attitude toward fans and his business practices, including the website. But not for his live shows. When it comes to that, he's the best in the business.

I'm not sure how much more clear that can be with my name on the screen in front of you. I mean...if you can't read....what is the world coming to?!

What he did/didn't do. An orger stated that he would give something back to not only the U.S. put his lotus members back here. And true enough he has, this Saturday and what do ya do complain again. The man is trying to give back so much love like never before and you act as though you don't reconized that love he is giving. Yes, we all make HUGH mistakes in life.
