STEALING OTHERS TECHNIQUES For those (not sayin there any here) just for the sake of discussin tho, FOR anyone who says prince steals others peoples techniques and tries to make it seem like its his own ...WTF? Check your history books on ANY MUSICIAN COMPOSER, PAINTER, SCULPTER...ALL THOSE GREATS LEARNED FROM GREATS...thats how they develope technique, thats how they develpoed excellent STYLE by being trained by or influenced by those before them...how else would we know or learn? We'd be a planet of cavemen NEVER evolving if this wasnt true...and Im just confiming it again, PRINCE is the GREATEST musician of our life time. Princes peers are all just mad cause they've lost the art and fell short of the glory of god and Prince has been the only one of a very few able to continue to remain in the LIGHT and carry the torch of greatness that music should be today , but unfortunatley is not. Certainly jelousy would arouse by his peers because of this, just as the Jews to Jesus! | |

I agree 100%. It's called "INSPIRATION". If Prince "steals" ideas, then why does he have one of the BEST reputations in the music industry among other artists? | |

Just take a listen to prettyman or 1+1+1 and tell me if you don't hear James Brown there. Of course you do. Maybe steal is not the right way to describe it, but Prince clearly gets inspiration from James. | |
