We decided to queue up at the RTL building once we secured our tickets for the La Cigale after show that evening.

We were not allowed in despite our pleas, only the winners of a concert could participate. They won two seats that morning, about 50 persons in total.
A girl was single, she hadn't brought a partner and we asked her if she wanted to take our friend Niels inside. She agreed ! Niels was extatic

They had to wait a very long time - Prince was 1 1/2 hour late !
We expected him at the front entrace where we were waiting because it was filled with barriers, police and security and some kind of welcoming committee at the door. Later we heard he had entered the building at the back entrance.

10 minutes after they were finally let in, Niels came back out.
His version of the set list was :

Instrumental Jam
Feel good, feel better
Le Freak
Mountains

It was an acoustic set with Prince on the Planet Earth classic guitar and Fred Yonnet on harmonica plus the backing vocals.

According to Niels Prince wore a black bandana, the Gucci sun glasses, a white vest, black satin trousers, purple socks and flip flops.

When it started he asked to put "all the ladies in front".
At the end he asked if they had paid for the tickets, the audience replied "NO" and they he said something like "I need to get paid, I don't work for free" - while he walked out he added "or somebody gotta give head" (?????)

It apparently was an inside joke because Yonnet laughed very hard when P said it.

Some of the french fans say he said something else, like "I work for free, somebody give them the hat".

Niels was very excited he might have misunderstood but both statements are valid
